More than ever before, celebrities are getting involved in the increasingly lucrative world of designer eyewear. Gwen Stefani is no exception. The popular singer, fashion designer and star of NBC’s The Voice has a collaborative partnership with optical brand Tura for two fashion eyewear lines, which she of course helps to design: L.A.M.B. (the same brand name as her well-received clothing line) and GX by Gwen Stefani. The third collections have recently launched. Ms. Stefani says that her major inspiration for starting the venture was necessity: “I actually need [glasses now]!” And as one could expect, her designs don’t disappoint, running the gamut from more today-oriented trends to vintage looks. While L.A.M.B. already offers sunglasses, GX will be adding sunnies to its line later this year.
