Do people actually appear smarter when wearing glasses?

A research study in Britain has found that people really do believe that someone appears more intelligent and professional when they’re wearing glasses. And…

A 2015 German study revealed that 53 percent of people who graduate from college are nearsighted, while only 24% of people who don’t get their high school diploma are.

We’ll let you read that one again.

While the evidence does point toward people with glasses being more likely to boast a couple more IQ points than others – or at least look like they do – the debate will probably remain an active one.
